Dyalá Jiménez is a Costa Rican lawyer who holds a Master’s (LL.M) degree in International Law from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Her career has allowed her to work in France and Chile and she has held several public office roles in Costa Rica. She is frequently appointed as arbitrator in international treaty-based and contract-based disputes, for which she has been included in the list of Who’s Who of International Arbitration (2009-2011-2012) and Who’s Who of International Litigation (2011-2012). Ten years ago, Dyalá founded DJ Arbitraje, a boutique firm focused on commercial and investment dispute resolution. The firm began in Santiago, Chile, and now operates from San José, Costa Rica.
It comes as no surprise that Dyalá, like so many of us, was amazed by how Barack Obama, who had the same 24 hours a day as she did, was able to lead a country and, at the same time, spend time with his family and stay in shape. This made Dyalá realize: each of us can do a little bit each day if we decide how to fill those hours with meaningful activities instead of just going on “auto-pilot”.
If, like Dyalá, you think it sounds impossible, join us for this event to find out how she manages to do it all!
Exact change or SINPE Móvil is appreciated! Also, for non-members, you can become a member at this event!
Notes: We encourage participants to carpool for this event, as there is limited parking. Click here for the Google maps pin or look up Riverside Marketplace.
After the event, we will have the option to stay for an early lunch from 11am to 12pm – this a great networking opportunity with other members and friends of the PWNCR! We will take lunch orders during the event. Click here for RIVERSIDE’s menu (Spanish only).
