This month, Silvia Rojas of the Costa Rican Electric Mobility Association (Asociación Costarricense de Movilidad Eléctrica, ASOMOVE) will be joining us to answer all our questions regarding sustainable mobility and the use of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in Costa Rica.

Silvia Rojas Soto is a prominent leader in the field of electric mobility and decarbonization. She currently serves as executive director of the Costa Rican Electric Mobility Association (ASOMOVE) and president of the Latin American Association for Sustainable Mobility (ALAMOS).
With a solid academic background, Silvia studied Collective Communication and Law, complementing her profile with a Master’s Degree in Project Management.
Her professional trajectory includes significant roles in key institutions. In the Legislative Assembly, she contributed as a drafter of the Law of Incentives and Promotion for Electric Transportation, demonstrating her commitment to the promotion of clean technologies. In addition, in the Presidency of the Republic of Costa Rica, she served as presidential advisor.
From her position in civil society, Silvia continues to promote the adoption of zero emission technologies and to lead initiatives to overcome dependence on fossil fuels, promoting a transition to a decarbonized economy.
