August Event

What makes someone have presence? And what does it really take to make your voice heard?

Whether you’re presenting in a boardroom, speaking on a stage, leading a team, building relationships, parenting, or simply navigating everyday life, how you show up matters. Your presence can shape how others experience you—and how confidently you communicate your ideas, passion, and perspective.

Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop with Lauretta Nkwocha, a professional performer, entrepreneur, and experienced communicator, as we explore the power of presence and the many ways we can become more confident, authentic, and effective in making ourselves heard.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience as a professional performer across television, theater, music, and stage, Lauretta will bring a unique perspective to the art of communication. From performing on London’s West End to working in television and theater in the UK and United States, Lauretta has spent her career understanding what it means to step into “the room where it happens” and make an impact.

This workshop will invite us to look beyond simply what we say and explore how we show up. We’ll consider the messages our bodies communicate before we even speak, how we use our voices, and how we can present our passion with greater confidence and presence.

Beyond the workshop itself, this event is also an opportunity to connect with a community of accomplished and inspiring women. Reconnect with familiar faces, expand your professional network, exchange experiences, and build meaningful relationships with women who believe in supporting one another’s growth and success.

Whether you’re looking to become a more confident speaker, strengthen your leadership presence, communicate more effectively, or simply feel more comfortable taking up space and sharing your voice, this session will offer practical insights, reflection, and plenty of inspiration.

What You’ll Explore

During this interactive session, you will:

  • Explore what it means to have presence and why it matters in both professional and personal settings.
