  • How you can use tapping to help co-workers, family and friends – spread the word

About The Speaker

Jean Murphy

Jean Murphy became interested in energy medicine more than 20 years ago when she was given a book that changed her life. Having lived with back pain off and on since an injury at age 11, at 45 she was getting close to having surgery when a friend gave her a copy of Healing Back Pain – The Mind-Body Connection by Dr. John Sarno.

After reading maybe 90% of the book, her back pain was gone and didn’t return for over 14 years. This time she listened to the whole book on a cross country drive and got out of the car, pain free.

Since her introduction to the mind-body connection, Jean has studied and worked with practitioners in the fields of hypnosis, NAET, neuro-linguistic programming, Reki, light therapy, Therapeutic touch, and Healing Touch, among others.

She was introduced to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) 5 years ago and was impressed with the clinical trials, and peer-reviewed studies that has propelled EFT into mainstream medicine, including acceptance by the US military as a treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
