MARCH 2024 UPDATE

After an insightful event with Vicky Ross at the Holiday Inn in March, April has started out on the wrong foot (pun intended!). We had originally scheduled an Art Tour with Florencia Urbina for this month; however, our tour guide suffered a foot injury so we had to postpone our visit to the MADC. Don´t worry, we will reschedule it as soon as Florencia is feeling better.

Instead, PWNCR member Loredana Regep has stepped in (I can’t help it!!) and will be delighting us with a very interesting talk about Mental Fitness. Scroll down to read more and to register for this exciting event.

In this issue, you can read about:

  • Upcoming April Event: Achieve Your Highest Life and Work Potential through Mental Fitness
  • PWNCR NEWS
  • Fundraising Campaign: Rahab Foundation
  • How to get more out of your PWNCR Membership

PWNCR April 2024 Event: Achieve Your Highest Life and Work Potential through Mental Fitness

When: April 20, 2024
Time: 9:30 to 11:30 am
Where: Tin Jo Restaurant
Speaker: Loredana Regep

SAVE YOUR SPOT!

Your mind is your best friend. But it can also be your worst enemy.
When not in control, your mind can frequently sabotage your potential for both performance and happiness. The negative emotions you so often experience (stress, fear, anxiety, etc.) are in fact the result of self-sabotage.

The breakthrough research of Positive Intelligence is providing you, as an individual, with the knowledge and tools that strengthens that part of your brain that helps you, and is associated with higher levels of wellbeing, performance and happy relationships, while quieting the part of the brain that sabotages you.

This is called MENTAL FITNESS.

The practice of mental fitness leads to improved productivity, reduced conflict and stress, and overall improved job satisfaction and performance.

Join us for a 1 hr session where you can learn more about the various ways in which we tend to self-sabotage, and how to build the mental muscles that lead to a sustained positive change, both at personal and organizational level.

Key Points:

  • How does our mind sabotage our wellbeing, relationships and performance?
  • What is the neuroscience behind negative VS positive thinking (the two “brains”)?
  • How can we use the power of positive emotions and constructive thinking to overcome self-sabotage?
  • The Sage perspective
  • How do you become “mentally fit” and turn your mind into your best friend for life?

Entrance cost:

3,000 colones for members
6,000 colones for non-members
Exact change or SINPE Móvil is appreciated! Also, for non-members, you can become a member at this event!

The event will take place on Friday, February 16th at 9:00 am  at their facilities. They have parking space for up to 10 cars, so carpooling is encouraged.
