[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This month we had a meeting with Lorna Rasmussen who shared very valuable insight on the do’s and don’ts of networking. The group was able to interact with questions and shared examples of the most effective way to enter a group with the intention to make connections.
Number one rule, Do Not Make Your Sales Pitch!
Networking is all about listening, making eye contact, focusing on conversation to ascertain if the contact is someone who can benefit from your products and services.
The contact is made afterwards. By listening to a potential client and asking what their challenges and problems are you have a worthwhile contact to connect with after the networking event.
What surprised us was learning about the personality types and how they receive and give information. Before the meeting several of us had filled out a questionnaire by Bankcode CLICK HERE to learn more.
Bankcode is a system used to determine how you can communicate with different personality types, making sales and networking more productive.
We enjoyed Lorna’s talk immensely and hope she will come back to teach us more![/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”green”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Door Prize
This month’s door prize was a beautiful candle won by Karin Hoad of the Refugio Assisi.
Door prizes are an important way to share your business and services. We all know Costa Rica works by word of mouth. When you give potential clients an opportunity to try your products it can open up a world of opportunities.
